JoJo 13.1; Samantha Has Lunch With The Smiths

"More carrots, Samantha?" Alice asked
"Yes mam. Thank you!"
"You are welcome."
Dan chimed in. "Did you like church, Samantha?"
"Oh, yes sir. Especially the music!"
"Good."
JoJo interrupted, "I feel like we are grilling Samantha. Can't we just eat?"
Samantha quickly said, "It's alright, JoJo. I am enjoying myself immensely."
"Oh, cool." JoJo quickly replied.

After lunch, JoJo and Remi invited Samantha to play Monopoly.
"I have never played before."
JoJo reassured her. "If Remi can play, I think you can pick it up."
Remi, oblivious to the insult added, "Yea, if me can do it, you can do it."
Samantha laughed and agreed to play.
After 2 hours and 15 minutes, the three Monopoly players decided to call it quits. The game seemed like it was never going to end.
Samantha asked Alice for a ride home.
JoJo was surprised Samantha would feel comfortable enough to ask his mom anything.
"Sure, let me get my keys."
"I had a wonderful day! Thank you, Mr. Smith and Remi."
"What about me?" JoJo frustratedly asked.
"Of course, you big lug. Aren't you going to ride with your mom and me?"
"Oh. Sure."
Samantha insisted on being dropped off at the Grubb & Gas. She thanked Mrs. Smith and JoJo.
"I'll see ya tomorrow at school, Samantha."
"See ya."

The next day at school would have a few surprises for both JoJo and Samantha.
