"If I Were in Charge of American Sports, I Would Change Three things..."

1. The MLB All-Star game winner would not determine the home-field advantage for the World Series!

* Why not?
A. The fans vote for the starters.
B. Every MLB team is required to have a representative on the team.
C. It is an EXHIBITION!

* So what would I do?
Since there is currently inter-league play, the team in either the NL or the AL with the best over-all regular season record, would host the World Series. If that team didn't last until the World Series, then the team with the second-best record, then the third-best record. An so on, and so on.

2. The NFL Overtime Rule is a joke!
A coin flip determines the winner of the Super Bowl?!
Need I say more? Ok, I will. The NFL should adopt the college rules for overtime games.

3. Create 4 quarters for NCAA Men's Basketball as opposed to the current two twenty-minute halves. Any other level of basketball from Middle School, High School, NCAA Women's, and the Pros have 4 quarters of basketball. While each level has different amount of time per quarters, they still have 4 quarters. While I am not going to lose any sleep over this one, my OCD is screaming for uniformity!
